    • It could be anything...ciruclation, nerves, stress.   The key is to only focus on known information.  It does sound like a decent sign that the urgency of your results isn't high.  If there was something really wrong, you would be attended to.  It would seem kind of malpractice for a serious issue to sit on a desk for the next two weeks.  I can imagine stress is high right now.  Just about anything could happen, even psychosomatic stuff.  The mind does wonders if you let it.   First - be glad that you don't have to go through the family emergency; there is stress with the doctor.   Second - again, you can ony focus on what you know.  The test is done; the results are available.  If it was serious, you would probably have heard something before he left.
    • Hi. Has anyone had any experience with itchy skin? I mean all over. Arms, legs, back, chest, head, face, hands and feet. Not there all the time and not everywhere all at once. It comes and goes. I’ve had it for about a week now. My dr sent me for bloodwork to check liver and pancreas etc. he has also sent a request for allergy testing. I know serious things with the liver and pancreas will show up in bloodwork but it will not show lymphoma which is my main worry. Unfortunately my dr has a family emergency and had to go away for 2 weeks. I won’t see him for my blood test results until May 9th.  I’ve had itchy skin in the past that lingered for some time and it was never determined what it was. Back then my focus was always liver or pancreas ca. I never even thought of lymphoma back then.  Now it’s all I can think of. I’m really struggling to stay calm with this. It’s just another worry added to the stress I already have from my aortic aneurysm diagnosis.  Thx for reading. Any help or advice is appreciated.
    • It's just a matter of getting the visibility.  The site was down for some time, as was the sister site anxiety-space.com.  I try to check in every so often.
    • I really wish this site could go back to the way it was....lots of members online, in the chat, I miss so many of my friends that no longer come here. There are so many days i need to go into the chat room and interact with people because i'm feeling very anxious, but there's never anyone there anymore....it's quite sad
    • It is possible.  It takes thought retraining.  To not react to things the way that could cause us anxiety.
