    • Hello. It’s understandable to feel overwhelmed with these symptoms, especially when they’re so specific and persistent. Anxiety can cause highly localized physical sensations, including numbness, tingling, and pain, due to heightened nerve sensitivity and hyperawareness of your body. Post-surgery nerve healing might also explain the lingering sensations in your hand, as nerve recovery can take time and sometimes trigger misfires like shocks. A clear MRI last year is reassuring, and MS typically progresses visibly over time. However, if these new symptoms are significantly different, discussing them with your neurologist is a good idea. They can guide whether another MRI or additional tests are necessary.
    • I've absolutely gone through this exact thing years ago, and yes, it's definitely stress/anxiety/depression related. I'd gone through all the medical tests at the time, and it all boiled down to anxiety. This too shall pass, my friend.
    • Stress can trigger anxiety.  The anxiety pattern is  a distraction.  We actually thrive is these situations because we are used to the anxious condition.
    • Yesterday I decided to take it for what it is, stress, anxiety, and normal to forget things or mix things up sometimes. I had good peace most of the day. I decided not to focus on small triggers, and there were a few. Instead I just noticed them and moved on as I knew I should. It helped me not even spike worry on some.  Today I have had a few s well, but overall, not worrying about it.  Stress and business is messing with me.
    • You're overloading yourself and then freaking out about things that you can't balance on that overloaded plate.   At that point, you have to stop and assess what you can handle and let the rest go.
